Short version: the app runs on your phone, the photos stay yours.

1 · The app

Plantfold is a personal photo journal for plants. There is no account, no sign-in and no server. Everything you create lives on your device.

2 · Your photos

You keep all rights to the photos you take or import. Plantfold stores its own copies inside the app, strips location metadata and never modifies the originals in your library.

3 · Reminders

Reminders are local notifications scheduled by your phone. If notifications are off in system settings, the app cannot deliver them.

4 · Deletion

Deleting a plant, or all local data, removes the app copies for good. There is no backup to restore from, so export anything you want to keep first.

5 · No warranty

The app is provided as is. It is a journal, not a plant-health service, and nothing in it is advice about caring for a plant.
